  1. Pizza Sales at lunch TODAY in Mr. Chiles’ room. $2 per slice.
  2. TODAY after school the Booster Club will be selling Wildcat “gear” (sweatshirts, tshirts, hats, etc.) out by the gym.
  3. Juniors: The PSAT is scheduled for October 29th.  If you would like to take the test please sign up in the office.  If you have any questions, see Kristy.  Sophomores will take this test in the Spring so it is for Juniors only.
  4. If you are interested in playing basketball or cheering for basketball, please sign up in the office.
  5. Boys Basketball: There will be basketball conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.  You will need to have your sports physical turned in before you can participate.  If you have any questions, see Coach Trev.
  6. If you didn’t get your CSF dues in or are not sure if you qualify or not, come see Kristy in the office.
  7. Sophomores: We are excited to kick off the 20-21 HOBY program year and develop another cohort of youth leaders that will give back to our communities through leadership and service.  Since 1958, the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) has provided transformative leadership development training that has positively impacted the lives of over 600,000 high school students in the U.S. and abroad.  Students will spend 3 – 4 exciting days exploring leadership from an individual, group and societal perspective while collaborating with students throughout the state.  Students return from HOBY with a new sense of self-awareness and an elevated confidence in their individual potential.  They will be inspired to make a positive impact in their schools and communities and will be equipped with the leadership skills to enable action.  If you are interested, please see Ms. Banke.  FHS can send up to 2 students.
  8. Ladies: Soroptimist International of the Eel River Valley invites you to join this year’s Dream It Be It Program!  The program meets monthly on Zoom and is open to any girl in the high school in the Eel River Valley.  The 7 one-hour sessions are designed to help you define your career and life goals and then learn skills to overcome obstacles along the way to make your dream into your reality.  The first session will be Thursday, October 22nd from 2:00 – 3:00 titled Discovering Your Dreams.  If you are interested or have any questions, see Ms. Banke.
  9. Seniors: Cash for College Workshop for FAFSA will be here next Tuesday, October 20th from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. to help you fill out your financial aid forms. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Banke.  More information on what you will need to bring with you that day will be announced closer to the date.
