“Ask yourself if what you are doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.”

  1. Picture day will be on Wednesday, September 30th. Lifetouch is going paperless this year so I will get you the information on how to order pictures as soon as I know.
  2. Seniors: Pasta is looking for someone to act as their Pasta rep this year.  This student(s) will help with advertising for fundraisers and helping to work at the fundraisers. Sometimes if there is more than one person interested, they will take more than one rep. It looks good on college applications and you usually end up getting a scholarship out of it.  If you are interested, write a letter saying why you are interested and why you would make a good Pasta Rep.  Letters are due on Friday, September 25th to the office.  If you have any questions, see Kristy in the office.
  3. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:  CSF confirmation letters went out yesterday.  If you think you qualify for CSF for last semester (Spring 2020), check your mail for your letter.  If you qualify, bring in your $5 dues to the office before October 1st.
  4. If you haven’t already turned in your pink sheet about the Student Handbook please get it in ASAP. You can put it in the trays across from the office.
  5. Please turn in your first day packets across from the office. If you have lost yours and need a new one, see Kristy in the office. Each grade has its own tray to put them in. If you have any questions, see Kristy in the office. Freshmen are winning!! A list of students who haven’t turned their packets in is on the back.
  6. Any student athlete that is interested in strength or speed training see Coach McClurg to sign up for a time slot. These time slots will be for before and after school – your choice.  Only 14 student athletes per section.  First come first serve!!
  7. This year’s College and Career Expo will be held on Thursday, September 24th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It will be ALL ONLINE!  Please visit the event website at to find information about the virtual format, the list of college recruiters attending and the workshops available.  Also, on this website, is information on virtual Campus Weeks hosted by UCs, CSUs and Private Colleges.  These college weeks begin on September 14th,  so if you are interested, visit the website right away so you can sign up. If you have any questions or need more information see Ms. Banke or Kristy in the office.
  8. Seniors: Cash for College Workshop for FAFSA will be here on Tuesday, October 20th from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. to help you fill out your financial aid forms.
