  2. FFA members – if you turned in an application to attend State Conference, there is a MANDATORY meeting tomorrow at lunch in the Ag room. Meeting wills tart at 11:45.  Mandatory means you HAVE to be there.
  3. There will be a baseball meeting in the library tomorrow at lunch. If you are planning to play baseball, be sure to attend this meeting.

  4. Anderson says WE NEED MORE CANNED FOOD!! We don’t want to be last place AGAIN!! Donate canned food to the Humboldt Holiday Can Food Drive. Bring your canned food in to the barrels and boxes that are in the classrooms and hallways.  This food drive is not only for the needy communities, it is also a competition between the other high schools in the area.  Lets try to get the most donations!!  If you have any questions, see Bryleigh Busick.
  5. Seniors: Tri Counties Bank awards scholarships of up to $1,500 each to students attending a 4 year college and up to $1,000 for those attending community college. Awards will be made to talented high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement and business entrepreneurship – especially among our economically disadvantaged youth.  For more information, please visit shastacf.org/scholarships.  There will also be copies in the scholarship box in the library.

  1. Varsity Girls Basketball will be leaving after 2nd period today for their tournament. Varsity Boys will need to be excused at 11:30 for their tournament and JV boys will be leaving at lunch.
  2. Innovate Business Career Panel: Have you thought about being your own boss? Did you know that one in five business are family owned?  And roughly half of all businesses are home based?  It might be the right career choice for you.  Take a closer look today from 10 – 11 a.m. in the Library.  Locall businesses will talk about why being in business was the right choice for them.  If you plan to attend, please sign up in the office. If you are not signed up, you will not be excused to miss class
