  1. Ladies: If you are interested in a Letterman’s Jacket, the Booster Club has a few Large or Extra Large jackets for $25.  If you are interested, let Kristy know in the office.
  2. Seniors: The Ferndale High Cash for College Workshop will be next Tuesday, October 16th from 1:00 – 4:00 in the library.  FAFSA representatives will be here to help you and your parents with filling out the application.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Banke.
  3. Students interested in attending the  44thAnnual HSU American Indian College Motivation Day please sign up in the office by Oct 17th.  This is an all day event on Thursday, Nov 1, 2018. Any questions please see Ms. Banke.
  4. If you are not sure you qualify for CSF and you think you do, you can see Ms. Banke or call Tina at the elementary school. Dues for CSF are due by October 18th.
  5. Leo Club is collecting blankets and towels for Miranda’s Rescue Animals during the month of October. Please bring any donations to Mr. Chiles’ room.
  6. Ladies: if you are interested in playing basketball this year, there will be a sign up meeting in the gym Wednesday, October 10th at lunch in the gym for both JV and Varsity.
  7. Local Author J. Lynn Bailey will be here to speak with students about a career in writing this Friday, Oct 12th during 2nd period. She has written many popular books~ Black Five (a supernatural story based in Ferndale), Standing Sideways and Peony Red. Please sign up in the office if you would like to attend her presentation.
  8. There is an older gentlemen next door that would like to hire someone to help him do his yard work. His name is Tom Eastman.  If you are interested in a little work, call him at 499-6500.

  1. Remember to turn in your insurance liability forms to the office for vehicles in the parade. If you need a form, see Kristy.
  2. Be sure to write your name on back of the raffle tickets you are getting this week and put them in the jar in the office. You must be present at night rally to win.

  7. The Homecoming Dance will be this Saturday, October 6th from 9:00 to midnight at the Town Hall. You can buy pre-sale tickets from Kyersten Borges.  $10 for singles & $15 for couples.
  8. You must be academically eligible to participate in homecoming activities. This includes lip sync, float, parade and dance.  If you are uncertain of your eligibility (2.0 with no more than one F) check with Mrs. A on Thursday.
