“Don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle!”


  1. AP tests start this week! All tests will be in the library.  The schedule will be: Today will be APES after lunch, tomorrow will be APUSH first thing in the morning, next Tuesday the 15th will be AP Calc in the morning, next Wednesday the 16th will be AP English in the morning and Softball girls taking APES, the test will be in the morning on Thursday the 24th.  Report directly to the library on the day of your test. Financial management will be in the Foods Room on AP Test days and Student Success will be in Mrs. Noga’s room 4th
  2. Today will be Senior night for the softball players. Seniors please ask your parents be there about 10 minutes before the first game (1:50) for the introductions.  Any questions see Mrs. Alexandre.
  3. Prom is this Saturday, May 12th from 9:00 – midnight at the Fortuna River Lodge. Prom tickets are on sale. You can buy your tickets from Mariela. Tickets are $30 for a single and $50 for a couple.  These are the same prices as last year.  Prices at the door will be $45 for single and $65 for couples, so buy them now!!  Jen Grandy will be taking pictures at Shaw House Inn starting at 6:00.  Every prom goer is welcome, not just seniors.
  4. This Saturday, May 12th from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. the Ferndale Lions Club will be having an Open House Celebration at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds Art Building. They will have the concessions trailer there and Free vision and diabetes screenings.
  5. Sophomores and Juniors: If you would like to run for a Student Body Office next year, please pick up a petition in the office. Petitions must be returned by this Friday, May 11th.
  6. Seniors: Be sure to turn in your senior group photo order form to Mrs. Alexandre by next Thursday, May 17th!
  7. Seniors: Your senior sweatshirt money is due. Sweatshirts are $30 and they will be picked up as soon as all the money is turned in.  Please see Lindsay Luster to pay for your sweatshirt.
  8. Late Spring Week will take place May 21st – 25th. During this week ASB has scheduled dress up days along with the Powder Puff game on Wednesday, May 23rd!  Dress up days will be announced next week.
  9. There is a list of students who still have not turned in their class registration for next year on the back. Get them in ASAP!!
  10. Yearbooks are on sale now for $65. Please buy them in the office.
  11. Soccer players, Volleyball players, Football players and basketball players, if you have not yet turned in your uniforms to your coaches, please bring them to Mr. McClurg so he can check your name off.
  12. Be sure to pay your woodshop bills if you haven’t already. There is a list on the back of students who still owe. See Kristy in the office to pay.
  13. Lunch today: Teriyaki chicken and rice
  14. Lunch tomorrow: Pulled pork sandwich and potato salad
