  1. Softball girls will be leaving at lunch for their game today vs. Hoopa
  2. Sophomores and Juniors: If you would like to run for a Student Body Office next year, please pick up a petition in the office. Petitions must be returned by next Friday, May 11th.
  3. Juniors and Seniors: You will have class meetings next Monday at lunch to sign up and plan for Powder Puff.  Seniors will be in Mrs. Giacone’s room and Juniors will be in Mrs. Noga’s room.
  4. There is a list of students who still have not turned in their class registration for next year on the back. Get them in ASAP!!
  5. Seniors: If you have a parent that is a disabled veteran, you may be eligible to have your tuition waived. If you think you qualify for this, come to the office for more information.
  6. Seniors: More scholarships available!!
    1. Amaysing Grace Foundation: For a Senior entering the medical field. Resume and essay due to the office by Tuesday, May 15th.
    2. Elks Lodge Scholarship: Application/Transcript/Letters of Rec./Essay due by Tuesday, May 15th
    3. Luna de Colores: Application/Essay/Transcripts due to the office by Tuesday, June 5th.
  7. Looking for a job? Spend your summer working and learning in the great outdoors for the Youth Conservation Corps at Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge near Loleta. Must be 15 to 18 years old, no experience necessary, 40 hours/week on Monday through Friday and $11.00/ hr.  For more information and to apply visit fws.gov/refuge/humboldt_bay  or call 707-733-5406.
  8. Yearbooks are on sale now for $65. Please buy them in the office.
  9. Prom tickets are on sale. You can buy your tickets from Mariela. Tickets are $30 for a single and $50 for a couple.  These are the same prices as last year.  Prices will be raised by $15 at the door, so buy them now!!
  10. If you are interested in being a cheerleader for football next year, please sign up in the office.
  11. Soccer players, Volleyball players, Football players and basketball players, if you have not yet turned in your uniforms to your coaches, please bring them to Mr. McClurg so he can check your name off.
  12. Be sure to pay your woodshop bills if you haven’t already. There is a list on the back of students who still owe. See Kristy in the office to pay.

  15. Teachers: Progress reports end tomorrow. Portal will open tomorrow and close next Wednesday, May 9th.
