  1. Seniors: The Mary Jorgensen Memorial Scholarship is now available. It is open to any senior who has represented Ferndale High School well. It is due today!!You must have a transcript and a 300 word essay on your involvement at Ferndale High School and what it means to you turned into the office by the end of the school day on the 1st. If you have any questions, see Tina.

  6. Next Tuesday, June 5th will be the Spring Sports Banquet @ 6:00 at the Belotti Hall at the Fairgrounds for Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Softball and Rodeo. Parents of athletes are asked to bring a main dish and a side dish.  Be sure to bring your own utensils.
  7. If you are planning to play volleyball next year, please sign up in the office!
  8. FREE BOOKS!! There are free books that are discarded novels from the library available on the shelf across from the office. Please help yourself!!
  9. The LAST blood drive for this year will be next Tuesday, June 5th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. You have to be at least 16 years old to give blood. Please sign up in the office if you would like to donate.  16 year olds must have parent permission to donate blood.  Permission slips are in the office.  If you have any questions, see Mirian Alvarado.
  10. Volleyball girls: CR is having a one day hitting and setting clinic for 9th – 12th graders on Saturday, June 23rd. The hitting clinic is from 10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. and the setting clinic is from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The cost is $40 for one clinic or $60 for both. There are flyers in the office if you are interested.
  11. Class Night will be next Friday, June 8th at 7:00 p.m. We will be recognizing students in Star Students in grades 9 – 12, scholarship recipients along with the Honor Jacket for the Juniors. Class Night will be back in the gym this year and community members are invited to attend.
  12. There will be another sports physical night at the clinic uptown on Wednesday, June 20th from 5:30 – 7:30. This will be the only other one they will hold this year. So if you don’t get one on June 20th you will have to go to your own doctor.  Physicals cost $25 and the paperwork will be in the office.  Any questions, see Kristy.
  13. Yearbooks are on sale now for $65. Please buy them in the office.

  1. Leo Club is serving BBQ Hamburgers for lunch today out at the football concession stand. Come and enjoy a free lunch before the rally and Powderpuff game!!
  2. Spring Week is this week!! Dress up days are:  Today – No Dress Up day Powder Puff only schedule is on the back, Tomorrow – Summer Day and Friday – Spirit Day.
  3. There will be CAASPP Math testing next Tuesday and Wednesday for ALL juniors during 2nd and 3rd periods in the library. Please report directly to the library after 1st
  4. The LAST blood drive for this year will be on Tuesday, June 5th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. You have to be at least16 years old to give blood. Please sign up in the office if you would like to donate.  16 year olds must have parent permission to donate blood.  Permission slips are in the office.  If you have any questions, see Mirian Alvarado.
  5. Seniors: The Kyle Matyshock Memorial Scholarship is now available to a Senior entering a 2 or 4 year college or a career technical program.  You need to turn in your personal statement and a transcript to Tina in the office by this Friday, May 25th.
  6. Volleyball girls: CR is having a one day hitting and setting clinic for 9th – 12th graders on Saturday, June 23rd. The hitting clinic is from 10:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. and the setting clinic is from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The cost is $40 for one clinic or $60 for both.  There are flyers in the office if you are interested.
