Happy birthday today to Bradley Zaugg!!

 

  1. There will be a Leo Club meeting today at lunch in Mr. Chiles room.
  2. If you are interested in being a cheerleader for football next year, please sign up in the office.
  3. Students interested in tutoring an elementary school student or one of your fellow peers struggling in English and Math, please sign up with Ms. Banke.
  4. You are invited to participate in the first- ever USA Drive (Underwear, Socks and Accessories) that will run the entire month of April. All items will be donated to the Humboldt County District Attorney Victim Witness Program.  For reasons of safety, many families are forced to flee their homes with only the clothing on their backs.  The items collected will be distributed discreetly to the victims to protect the identity of the clients.  All sizes are needed: newborn to adult.  Donation/Collection bins will be located in the main entrance by the office.  If you have any questions or need more information please contact Lexi Miranda at nmiranda@co.humboldt.ca.us.
  5. Seniors who are planning to attend College of the Redwoods or ANY other community college next year, and still need to take the English and Math assessment tests, please sign up in the office. The testing date at C/R is this Friday, April 6th @ 9:45. You must fill out a permission slip and get it back to Ms. Banke in order to be able to go.  Permission slips are in the office. There will be a van going if you need transportation.  If you have any questions see Ms. Banke.
  6. If you still have ticket money for Ferndale Downs for this Friday, April 6th please turn it in to the office.
  7. Spring Break will be April 16th through 20th.
  8. Next Tuesday, April 10th there will be a birthday lunch for all students who have birthdays in the months of December through April. So if your birthday is in any of these months, come have free pizza in the Art Room at lunch.
  9. Yearbooks are on sale now!! Buy your yearbook for $55 in the office.  The price will raise to $65 after Spring Break!!
  10. Soccer players, Volleyball players, Football players and basketball players, if you have not yet turned in your uniforms to your coaches, please bring them to Mr. McClurg so he can check your name off.
  11. Seniors: Be sure to check the scholarship box in the office. New scholarships are added frequently.
  12. Be sure to pay your woodshop bills in the office if you haven’t already.
  13. Teachers: The portal will close tomorrow night. Please get your grades in.
