  1. Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time Happens this weekend. Be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour on Sunday.
  2. Students interested in Butte College’s Heavy Equipment Program there will be a representative from the program here today!! The presentation will be during 5th period in the library. Please sign up in the office!!
  3. Would you like to be an advocate for youth and social justice? Then maybe you would like to be a part of teen court. There will be a training on Thursday, March 29th from 4:15 – 6:15 at the Teen Center in Eureka.  For more information or to make a reservation call 444-0153 or email
  4. There will be a Junior Class meeting for Prom on Monday at lunch in Mrs. Noga’s room.
  5. There will be a PaSTA meeting next Monday, March 12th @ 6:00 p.m. in the library. All parents are welcome to attend.  Thank you!!
  6. Sophomores will be taking the PSAT next Wednesday, March 14th in the library. You will need to report there first period.  If you have any questions, see Tina.
  7. The following students need to pay their CSF dues by tomorrow or you will not be in CSF this semester: Garrett Christiansen, Jonnathan Alvarado, Madeline Michel, Elizabeth Towles, Kyler Becksted, Shaun Leonardo, Emily Clary and Darby McWaters.
  8. There will be a blood drive here next Tuesday, March 13th. You must be 16 years or older to donate blood.  16 year olds need to have your parents fill out a consent form in order to donate.  The consent form and sign up sheets are in the office.  If you have any questions, please see Mirian Alvarado.
  9. Tom Eastman who lives next door to the school is looking for someone who wants to work for him part time around his place. If you are interested or have any questions, please give him at call @ 499-6500.
  10. Soccer players, Volleyball players, Football players and basketball players, if you have not yet turned in your uniforms to your coaches, please bring them to Mr. McClurg so he can check your name off.
  11. Seniors: Be sure to check the scholarship box in the office. New scholarships are added frequently.
  12. Be sure to pay your woodshop bills in the office if you haven’t already.
  13. On March 29th @ HSU there will be Raza Day. It is a day where all Latino students of any grade can learn more about college and how to enroll. There are sign ups in the office.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Giacone.
