  1. Tomorrow there will be a mandatory meeting for those of you who are interested in playing baseball right at the beginning of lunch in the library. It will only take 10 or 15 minutes!!
  2. There will be no school this next Monday, January 15th in honor of Martin Luther King Day.
  3. Next week’s finals schedule is below. School will be released early on Wednesday, Jan. 17th & Friday, Jan. 19th @ 12:30 and no lunch will be served on those days. Buses will not run at 12:30 so you will need to be picked up.  However, they will be running at the regular times @ 2:30 & 3:15.
  4. Semi will be held on January 27th @ the Red Barn at the Fairgrounds. Presale tickets are be available now. $10 for single and $15 for couples.
  5. Aeries has released a new APP to check your grades on your phones. In the past, many of you have used a third party app called “grades” that isn’t always accurate and wasn’t developed by Aeries. To download, you MUST search “Aeries Mobile Portal” and look for the Aeries “A”.
  6. Cheerleaders are selling Krispy Kreme donuts for $10 per dozen. If you would like to buy some, see one of the basketball cheerleaders.  Donuts will be delivered on February 22nd!!
  7. Support Our Veterans!! There will be a support our Veterans Drive this Saturday, January 13th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the Fortuna High School Parking Lot.  If you would like to make a donation there are lists of items that are needed on the back!!
  8. Seniors: Be sure to look at the internet scholarship board in the hallway for scholarships you may qualify for. The board is in the hallway outside of the Foods Room.  Also, if you need community service hours please see Kristy, she will have them for you.  The Community Service you do with some of the clubs does not count so please check with her.
  9. Booster Club is selling Ferndale Wildcat travel coffee mugs for $10 each. If you are interested they are in the office.
  10. Senior Girls: The Kathleen McVey Memorial Youth Citizenship Award Applications are now available in the office. It is given to a young woman in recognition of outstanding contributions made to home, school, community and country. Applications are due Friday, January 19th.
