  1. Pizza Sales have been cancelled today!!
  2. Seniors that want to take the English and math assessment test Tuesday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. for College of the Redwoods, please sign up in the office. Banke will be taking a van if you don’t have a way to drive yourself up there.
  3. FFA and APUSH are hosting a pulled pork dinner this Friday, April 7th from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. You can come by and pick up your dinner or you can stay and eat!! Pulled Pork, Rice, Hawaiian Gravy, Cole Slaw, Green Salad and Dessert will be served.  $10 per dinner.  If you are interested in coming you can see Mrs. Noga or call the school.
  4. Blood Drive will be here next Tuesday, April 11th from 10 – 3. There is a sign-up sheet in the office.  You need to be at least 16 years old to donate blood.  16 year olds will need to have parent permission.  Permission slips are in the office.
  5. Next week is Spring Week. Dress-up days are on the bottom.
  6. Ping Pong Tournament: Next week during Spring Week (April 10th – 14th) there will be a ping pong tournament in the foyer of the gym. Entry fees are $5 per person and you may enter twice.  To sign up please see Dominic Regli.
  7. Yearbooks are on sale for $50. They will go up to $65 after Spring Break, so buy your yearbook now!!

“What comes easy won’t last long, and what lasts long, won’t come easy!!”

 

  1. Seniors that want to take the English and math assessment test Tuesday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. for College of the Redwoods, please sign up in the office. Banke will be taking a van if you don’t have a way to drive yourself up there.
  2. Pizza sales this Thursday. $2 per slice.
  3. Woody Hunt will be here today to take Softball, Baseball and Tennis pictures. The schedule will be as follows:  3:00 Tennis, 3:15 Softball and 3:30 Baseball

  6. Green Diamond is offering a job shadow for a forester, wildlife biologist, botanist, nursery work (growing Redwood Tree Clone Starts), company security etc.  If you are interested please sign up in the office.
  7. The School Board is looking for volunteers to be on the Supt./Principal interview committee. The committee will include: 1 parent from each site, 1 certificated staff member from each site, 1 classified member from the district, and 3 members from the community. If you are interested in participating, please submit your name and contact information to Ferndale High School before the board meeting tonight.

  10. Seniors: If you are going to a community college or technical school in the Fall, there is the Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship Program. They will award financial assistance to students who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity.  Go to horatioalger.org to apply.  Deadline will be June 15, 2017.
  11. Be sure to get your Community Service Hours in!! If you have served any community service this school year be sure to get the hours to Kristy. Only hours from this school year will be accepted.  These are very important since they go on your transcript, on college applications and for scholarships!  If you have any questions about Community Service Hours please see Kristy.
