  1. Leo club members: please get your community service hours in by THIS Friday!! Chiles will not be accepting them after that.  You can turn them in to Mr. Chiles, Emma or Kristy.
  2. FES interns: You need to report to the elementary school during your final time.  This is NOT a free period!
  3. Ag Interns: Please get your paperwork to Mrs. Noga or you will not get credit for this class.
  4. Tomorrow there will be an FFA meeting at lunch in Mrs. Noga’s room. Pizza will be provided.
  5. If you are looking for information about career opportunities in Humboldt County or to find out about job and training opportunities available in our area, Dream It Be It Career Exploration Day will be Saturday, January 23rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Adorni Center in Eureka. Over 30 businesses will be offering information and booths to point you in the right direction.  This is a free event however lunch and snacks will be available for a $5 donation.  You will even have a chance to win a Tablet or MP3 Player.  For more information call 707-499-5074.
  6. Please help children around the world battling Leukemia and Lymphoma. Donation boxes are in the following classes:  Seniors-Michael, Juniors-Smith Sophomores-Coach J. and Freshmen-Chiles
  7. Seniors: Scholarships in the office!! A $5,000 scholarship from CIF/Farmers Scholar-Athlete is open to students with a 3.5 GPA and played at least 2 years of a Varsity Sport. Most of all, the applicant has portrayed themselves as Athletes of Character.         A Humboldt Redwood $4,000 award is available to a student in Humboldt County who has extracurricular and community activities, with academic achievement.   A $1,500 Eula Mae Jett Scholarship open to a student pursuing study in Court Reporting, or another legal field.  And Judge Neville and Donna Mullen Scholarship for achievement and financial need.  All Scholarship applications are in the office.
  8. Ferndale High’s Semi-Formal Dance (theme: Great Gatsby) will be January 30th from 9:00 – 12:00 at the Red Barn at the Fairgrounds. Pre-sale tickets will be sold by Morgan Pryor. Pre sale ticket prices are Single – $5 Couples $7. Door ticket prices will be Single – $7 Couples $10.
  9. If you are planning on changing your class schedule for next semester, please sign up in the office in the Counselor book (red composition book).
